Terp governance runs through on-chain DAOs: a main DAO holding the community mandate plus focused subDAOs (workstreams) that propose and execute within a budget.
- Informal workstream — a group organizing around an idea, unfunded.
- Proposed — the workstream has submitted a budget proposal on-chain.
- Active — funded and executing; progress is accountable to voters.
- Inactive — discontinued, no longer funded.
Starting one means gathering momentum publicly (Discord), then putting a budget to a vote like any other proposal. There is no off-chain approval step that substitutes for the on-chain vote.
