Status definitions
- DRAFT — Under authorship, not published here
- Proposed — Open for review
- Accepted — Approved and binding
- Rejected / Deprecated / Superseded — Historical
Proposing a new ADR
- Open a PR using the template in ADR 1
- Leave at least one week for review
- Security reviewers sign off on crypto-related ADRs
- Only maintainers change status to Accepted or Rejected
